October 16th, 1967

Rachel & I go to the Resistance demonstration at the Federal Building. Part of Stop The Draft Week.

150 guys turn in their draft cards. People cheer as they put draft cards in big box.

District Attorney Poole comes out on steps but won’t accept the draft cards so they dump them at his feet.

One guy starts burning his Honorable Discharge, but an older vet breaks through & grabs it. They get it back & burn it.
